Water Testing
Livestock water suitability testing or irrigation water suitability tests are available. JSWCD is unable to test for potability or heavy metals at this time. Sample collections are performed by staff to ensure no cross-contamination.
Plant Analysis Testing
Plant analysis testing is available and can be used to detect nutrient levels within plant tissues. For a full list of plants we test, please contact the office. Samples can be dropped off at the SWCD office, or collected by District Staff.
Hay/Feed Testing
Designed to maximize feed efficiency and animal health by identifying moisture, protein, fiber, carbohydrate, and mineral levels. Samples can be dropped off at the SWCD office, or collected by District Staff. Hay Moisture Testing and windrow services are provided free of charge in addition to this test.
Soil Testing
Soil testing can include: pH, Organic Matter, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, CEC, Saturation, Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Sulfur, and Zinc. Let staff know what you are hoping to prioritize in your sample. Soil samples can be dropped off at the SWCD office, or collected by District Staff.
Plat Books
2026 Plat books are available to purchase at our front desk. Deliveries or shipments can be requested by calling our office or sending an email. Previous years' plat books are also available by request at a discounted price.
